Step 2: Planning
In the Planning phase of the JOE & THE JUICE app project, our team focused on strategizing the implementation of the new features to achieve the company's goals. We carefully mapped out the development timeline, considering the integration of pre-ordering and the loyalty card program. The planning process involved setting clear objectives, defining KPIs, and ensuring a seamless user flow within the app. Collaborative efforts between the development team and the marketing team were crucial to create a well-coordinated launch strategy, aiming to maximize user engagement and adoption.
Step 3: Design
We used the powerful design tool Figma to craft the app's interface. Figma allowed our design team to collaboratively work on creating visually appealing and user-friendly layouts that incorporated the company's brand elements seamlessly. Our design team worked diligently to craft visually appealing interfaces, intuitive navigation, and a user-friendly layout, enhancing the overall interaction and connection between the app and the JOE & THE JUICE universe.
Step 4: Development and testing
For JOE & THE JUICE team speed and efficiency were critical factors. To accelerate the development process, our team opted for the low code tool FlutterFlow. Leveraging FlutterFlow's capabilities, we could rapidly build and iterate on the app's features, ensuring a fast and seamless user experience. The low code approach allowed us to streamline the development process while maintaining high-quality standards. Rigorous testing was conducted throughout the development cycle to identify and resolve any issues, ensuring the app's stability and reliability.
Step 5: Release
The JOE & THE JUICE app was successfully released in 2019, and it proved to be a pivotal asset when the pandemic forced the closure of physical locations. With an established digital channel, the app quickly adapted to serve customers, allowing them to conveniently place orders for pickup or delivery. The app's seamless user experience and accessibility during challenging times led to a surge in user adoption.
